Here’s the recipe I promised everyone last week! I made Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies, which I found on My Baking Addiction.
We have the ingredients, which are butter, peanut butter, white sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, flour (All-Purpose), cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and peanut butter chips.
The only change I made to the recipe was using the sweet ground chocolate powder instead of unsweetened cocoa powder. I also didn’t use the full 2 cups of peanut butter chips, because I only had one bag. That worked out okay since there’s 1/2 cup of peanut butter, and the full 2 cups would have made it super peanut butter-y. I love peanut butter, don’t get me wrong, but I couldn’t really taste the chocolate. I don’t know if it’s because I used the sweet ground chocolate instead of unsweetened cocoa powder or if it’s because of both the peanut butter chips and the half cup of peanut butter. I think next time I’ll reduce the amount of actual peanut butter.
The cookies were really easy to make, but I love baking cookies, and bake cookies a lot. They were really good too, so if you’re a peanut butter fan, try these cookies.
Doesn’t that look yummy? Because they are. I love peanut butter. Yum!
